| Surface Preparation |
On cement-based surfaces, it is imperative that the surface is cured (i.e. saturated with water). The surface must be cleaned off of all oils and residue. The surface must be free of cracks and all other chemicals. The surface must be moistened with a brush and be prepared for the plastering application. On column and girder joints plastering net must be used as reinforcement. On brute concrete surfaces wetting the surface is essential. In high ambient temperature, highly absorbent glazed concrete surfaces should be primed with high adherence LRC Primer.

| Preparation Instructions |
11.0-12.0 kg. of clean and cool water (dependent on weather conditions) is mixed with 35 kg’s of powder and mixed for 3-4 minutes in slow revolution until a homogenous mixture is obtained; the mixture is set to rest for 5 minutes. Matured product is mixed one more time and is ready to use. Never mix water into the powder mix.
|
| Application |
The application temperature should be between +5 and +35 C. The prepared product is spread with a steel trowel. As needed, when the mortar is close to drying with the aid of a sponge the surface can be smoothened. In order to have a glass like smooth surface LRC Satin Plaster is recommended. After the surface cures any desired color or covering may be applied.
|
| Things to pay attention |
• LRC Plaster must be used within 2 hours from preparation.
• During application the environment must be protected from wind and direct sunlight.
• It is imperative that the surface is saturated with water.
