| Surface Preparation |
Concrete, wooden columns, and beams to be applied should be cleaned of loose parts, oil, and other chemicals. The surfaces to be applied should be impregnated with a solvent-free, moisture-tolerant or non-moisture-tolerant epoxy primer with a consumption of 0.100 – 0.150 kg/m². Following this, LRC LAMINATE EP is applied to concrete elements that have been previously injected with epoxy and/or repaired with epoxy repair materials. Carbon fiber is laid on the applied LRC LAMINATE EP and laminated and bonded with a lamination roller.
|
| Preparation Instructions |
Component A is first mixed within itself. Component B (small box) hardener is poured into Component A (large box) and the entire mixture is homogenized by mixing with a suitable mixer for three minutes.
|
| Application |
The mixed mixture is applied with a roller or brush to the surfaces of concrete elements that have been previously injected with epoxy, repaired with epoxy repair materials, and applied with epoxy primer. Following this, LRC LAMINATE EP is applied to concrete elements that have been previously injected with epoxy and/or repaired with epoxy repair materials. Carbon fiber is laid on the applied LRC LAMINATE EP and laminated and bonded with a lamination roller. The LRC LAMINATE EP that overflows from the fibers is spread over the carbon fiber to complete the process. If plaster etc. is to be applied to columns and beams, quartz should be sprinkled on the LRC LAMINATE EP to roughen the surface. Only enough LRC LAMINATE EP should be used to ensure adhesion.

| Things to pay attention |
• The concrete surface should be solid and have sufficient compressive strength (minimum 25 N/mm²).
• Irreversible gelation will start approximately 45 minutes after mixing. This cannot be visually detected.
• Do not use material that cannot be used within the usage period.
