| Surface Preparation |
Concrete, wooden columns, and beams to be applied should be cleaned of loose parts, oil, and other chemicals. The surfaces to be applied should be impregnated with a solvent-free, moisture-tolerant, or non-moisture-tolerant epoxy impregnation primer with a consumption of 0.100 – 0.150 kg/m². Following this, LRC LAMINATE EPW 13 is applied on concrete elements that have been previously injected with epoxy and/or repaired with epoxy repair materials. Carbon fiber is laid on the applied LRC LAMINATE EPW 13 and laminated and bonded with a lamination roller.
|
| Preparation Instructions |
Component A is first mixed within itself. Component B (small box) hardener is poured into component A (large box) and the entire mixture is homogenized by mixing with a suitable mixer for three minutes.
|
| Application |
The mixed mixture is applied with a roller or brush to the surfaces of concrete elements that have been previously injected with epoxy, epoxy-based repairs, and epoxy impregnation primer applications. The LRC LAMINATE EPW 13 that overflows from the fibers is absorbed into the carbon fiber, completing the process. If plaster, etc. is to be applied to columns and beams, the surface should be roughened by sprinkling quartz on LRC LAMINATE EPW 13. Only the amount needed for adhesion should be used.

| Things to pay attention |
• The concrete surface must be solid and have sufficient compressive strength (minimum 25 N/mm²).
• Irreversible gelation will begin approximately 45 minutes after mixing. This cannot be detected by eye.
• Do not use material that cannot be used within the usage period.
