Additional information

Surface Preparation

You should wait enough for the adherence of ceramics and tiles. Before the application of grouting, the surface should be cleaned by means of comb or an appropriate grouting stick and should be moisten by means of wet sponge.

Preparation Instructions

Appropriate water amount (1,75 liter-1,85 liter water for 5 kg sack) is poured into clean mixing pot. By shedding powder material on it, the mixture is properly stirred until there is no lump in it. After it is rested for 2-3 minutes, it is stirred again. LRC™ JF is laid on ceramics by means of rubber trowel, and the joint intervals are filled. Surplus material is diagonally taken from the joints. For the deep joints, first of all it should be waited for the material to be absorbed and this process should be done again. İt is waited for the material to be resistant against finger pressure. Whole surface is glazed with a wet sponge and watered. This process is made in order to balance the hydration, and the surplus materials are cleaned and LRC™ JF is given their final shapes. The following day, ceramics are polished by means of dry and clean cloth after the material is dried.

Things to pay attention

• LRC™ JF shouldn’t be used under +5°C temperatures and under rainy and windy weathers.
• Water or powder mortar shouldn’t be added to LRC™ JF which started to dry.
• 15-20 minutes after the material is applied, finger pressure test should be carried out. If the material resist to finger pressure and the fingers are not contaminated by the materials in the finger test,
• LRC™ JF should be watered and then the ceramics are polished by means of dry and clean cloth and LRC™ JF should be shaped by being moisten. As a result, LRC™ JF is ensured to be dust and crack fee and the excellent surface smoothness is ensured.
